Short description

Peel Tales is a tactile portrait chain puzzle in development. Connect matching paper tiles, unlock diagonal movement after the fifth link, master long-chain rewards, and travel through 300 levels across fifteen handcrafted chapters.

Long description

Peel Tales turns a familiar chain-puzzle gesture into a skill that opens while you play. The first five tiles follow clean orthogonal adjacency; reach five valid links and Diagonal Flow allows the sixth and later tiles to continue through true corners. Longer chains strengthen score feedback and can create controlled special tools, while authored objectives, blockers, board events, and limited moves keep every release meaningful. The complete single-player campaign spans 300 levels across fifteen twenty-level papercraft chapters, from Sunlit Studio to the Aurora Archive finale. Stars, personal bests, chapter memories, a growing album, and Score Chest progression give players reasons to return. The project is designed for offline portrait play with pattern-supported tiles, independent audio and haptic controls, and Reduced Motion. Peel Tales releases on August 15, 2027; store availability has not been announced.
